These terms and conditions control the contractual relationship between any person wishing to make a purchase on the website (www.beautyjournalists.com) and BEAUTYJOURNALISTS.COM.
Products
The products sold by BEAUTYJOURNALISTS.COM are those listed on the Website, the day the User visited the Website. The images illustrating the products do not enter into the contract. If they present some inaccuracies, the liability of BEAUTYJOURNALISTS.COM could not be committed on this ground. In case of the unavailability of a Product following an electronic error, BEAUTYJOURNALISTS.COM will promptly notify the User.
Pursuant to Article L. 111-1 of the Consumer Code, the User may, prior to his/her order, take note on the Website, of the essential characteristics of the Products they wish to order. The Products offered for sale are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy. However, if errors or omissions may have occurred in this presentation, the responsibility of BEAUTYJOURNALISTS.COM could not be committed.
Prices
Prices are indicated in Euros. They take into account any deductions and taxes applicable on the date of the order.
BEAUTYJOURNALISTS.COM reserves the right to change prices at any time but the products will be billed based on the prices in effect at the time of registration of the order. This is subject, however, to the availability of the products.
Orders
Browsing the Website allows the User to read the characteristics of the different Products available for sale; and to select the Products they want to "order."
At any time, the User can modify their cart, continue their order or abandon a current order, without any obligation to make a purchase.
Once the User is satisfied with their Cart and has filled out all the required information, they will click on the "Order" button to confirm their order.
The User will then be able to pay the order by debit or credit card or via a PayPal account, being redirected to the PayPal payment platform.
Electronic delivery
The product is available for download on the Website immediately after payment has been confirmed. The user must enter a valid email address in order to receive a download link via email upon request.
Right of withdrawal
All orders are final. BeautyJournalists.com sells data, which by definition cannot be returned. The User creates their own selection of the data they want to purchase and shall receive that data alone once they have successfully completed their purchase.
Personal data

Personal data are necessarily collected in order to process and follow-up with the User’s orders: first and last name, email address, country, etc. Failing to provide this information implies the automatic rejection of the order.
This information is stored on a server we rent, which is secured with a firewall as well as an SSL certificate (HTTPS access) for more security. Furthermore, we have installed additional security systems on the Website. We do our very best to protect your data.
Your personal data are never lent, rented or sold to third parties for any reason at all.
Pursuant to Law No. 78-17 of January 6th 1978 relating to data, lists and liberties, the treatment of personal information collected on the Website has been notified to the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL). BeautyJournalists.com never has access to your financial data. All card information or PayPal account information is handled by PayPal on their own server.

You have the possibility to download a free guide from us by joining our mailing list.
It allows us to send you information on our news and promotional offers, twice a week maximum (the letters rarely exceed a frequency of once a month, except for particular occasions). It also allows us the possibility to display promotional offers to you on social media.
There again, your data are never lent, rented or sold to third parties. Our newsletter system is managed via a third party (MailChimp) located in the United States of America, who themselves has committed to abide by European legislation regarding privacy and the protection of data. The data are hosted on their private, secure servers and at any time, you can access, modify, rectify and delete them.

Exceptional circumstances
Neither Party shall be liable for the total or partial non-performance of their obligations under this Agreement, if such non-performance is caused by circumstances outside both parties' control. Will be considered as exceptional circumstances events matching the criteria established by the case law of the 2nd Civil Chamber of the Court of Cassation. The Party claiming an event of exceptional circumstances shall notify the other Party within five working days of the occurrence or threat of this event. The Parties agree that they will discuss promptly to determine all the modalities of execution of the order during the period of exceptional circumstances.
Partial invalidity
If one or more provisions of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or declared as such under any law, regulation or following a final decision of a competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
Non-waiver agreement
Failure of either party not to claim a breach from the other party to any of the obligations set out in these terms and conditions shall not be construed in the future as a waiver to the obligation in question.
Entirety of contract
These terms and conditions form a contract and constitute the entirety of the contractual relationship between the parties.
Applicable Law
Sales of BEAUTYJOURNALISTS.COM products are subject to French law regardless of the country of residence of the Buyer and place of issuance of the Order. The present Terms and Conditions and the contractual relationship between the representatives of BEAUTYJOURNALISTS.COM and the Buyer are subject to French law. In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
In the absence of agreement, any dispute relating to the interpretation, performance or breach of the contract between the representatives of BEAUTYJOURNALISTS.COM and the Buyer, even in cases of multiple defendants, the exclusive jurisdiction will be that of the courts of Paris.
Intellectual Property
The Website is an artistic creation protected by the law of intellectual property. The Website and all its components (logos, photographs, images, illustrations, texts, video clips, trademarks ...) are the exclusive property of BeautyJournalists.com. By accessing the Website, the User agrees to respect and comply with the Terms of Use, as defined below.
